Blessing Bags

This outreach provides supplemental weekend food for children and teens in the local school district. Bags are packaged with breakfast, lunch, and snacks before being distributed each Friday.

Overtime

After every home football game, student in grades 7-12 are invited to MUMC for a safe, chaperoned party! The event features a live DJ, food, drinks, table games, and more.

Summer Food Service Program

Our church serves as a site for children or parents to pick up shelf-stable meals for a week (seven breakfasts and seven lunches per child). All children ages 1-18 are eligible and there are no income or residency requirements. This is a USDA-funded program that is brought to us by Children’s Hunger Alliance, with Mechanicsburg Public Library coordinating the paperwork for the program.

Volunteers to pack and carry out meals are always welcome, from 10am-12pm during summertime Mondays, as well as monetary donations or donations of food to provide extras. Those wishing to receive meals may do so between 11am-12pm.
